Brock and the Huggies Commerical

I was getting Brock dressed the other day and a commerical came on and he started saying the lines and I thought it was hilarious, I know that no one else will find it as funny as me but here it is anyways!!

Huggies Sock Puppet Diaper Commercial

This is the commerical that Brock was repeating! Funnier when he is not being taped but still pretty funny!

Cooper 18 month Well Check!

I took Cooper to the doctor on Friday for his 18 month well check. It was a little late but as I always say, better late than never. So here are his stats. Weight - 27lbs 6.5oz (51%)Height - 35 in (83%) Head - 18.5 in (15%) He has stayed around the same percentages every visit so he is growing just right! He is quite the little character though. When they go in for well checks, they have the little ones strip down to their diapers. Well, Cooper was having a fit about taking off his shoes and socks. The nurse was trying to be nice and figure a way out to do it without him crying, but me being the great Mom I am said let's just do it and he can scream for a minute. So we took all of his stats and then headed back into the room where I put his socks and shoes on with just his diaper. And wouldn't ya know it he was as happy as can be!!! Crazy kid!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROCK!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Brock!!! I can't believe that we actually made it to this Birthday! You are such a great kid but you are a handful!!

Here are my TOP 4 reasons I love you !!!

1. You are the nicest, most friendly kid I have ever met! You are always talking to everyone and trying to include everyone in everything you do!

2. You are hilarious! I can't stop laughing at the things you say and the way your mind works!! You can always bring a smile to my face!

3. You are a kid after my own heart when it comes to your love of junk food! I secretly love the fact that you are a night eater and love to sneak snacks! The part I don't love is cleaning up the mess after you are done!!

4. Lastly, I love your zest for life! You are so excited about everything and do everything all out! You are such a trooper with all that you have through with your eyes and you still always have a great big hug, smile and kiss for me whenever I want it!!!

We love you so much Brock and are so happy that you are a part of our family!!!!

Springs Preserve and Easter

When we went down to Vegas for Easter we went to the Springs Preserve with the Hafen Crew. It was a really neat place. There was a fake flash flood that the kids really liked. There were building areas, sand digging areas, a video game area, and a playground. The boys love hanging out with their cousins. We were able to spend conference weekend and Easter Sunday with both sides of our family. We had the annual Evester BBQ with my Dads (The Eves) side of the family. It was really fun to see everyone and visit. We don't make it to too many of the Easter or Christmas Parties because we are up here in Salt Lake so when we can make it we try to go. Then my whole side of the family, minus Brandon, stayed the night at Natalie's and spent Easter Morning together. After the first Sunday session of Conference we headed over to Tank's parent's house and spent some time with them. Grandma Vegas had organized an Easter egg hunt for the younger kids and we had a yummy Easter dinner. It was nice to see both sides of our family, that doesn't happen too often.

Tulip Festival

We headed down to the Tulip Festival again this year. I love the Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. I could go down there once a week, if it was closer. This year I took all four boys with me and it was quite the handful. You wouldn't think that the boys would like going to a Garden but they love it too. There is plenty of room to run around and things to look at. They weren't too hot on me taking their pictures so I didn't get any good ones of them. We were able to go with some of their friends so that was fun for them to be able to hang out with them and take pictures with them together. I love the waterfall area they have there. We took a picnic lunch and sat down bu the falls and ate lunch. Cooper is turning into quite the independent little boy and he wanted to walk more than ride in the stroller and wanted to do everything the big boys were doing. That is not necessarily a good thing when Brock is one of the big boys he is following.
