Snow Canyon Hike

Cooper and Cole hanging out after lunch!
Cooper with his cute cousins, Kenedy and Jayla
All the Eves grand kids minus Erick who was sick!
This looks like trouble for me now and for the ladies in the future! What good looking boys!
Such a sweet sight! Walking the trail
When we went down to Vegas at the end of January for Bear and Stef's wedding, we spent some time in St. George. We went on a hike in Snow Canyon with Ryan and Natalie's family. It was a short hike and we took a lunch with us to eat. It was fun to spend time together and in nature!
Cooper having a good time on the hike
Not to be outdone, our Brockers rockers!!

Cole's Birthday

Cole turned 8 on February 2nd! He had his party after his birthday, we decided to do a mini games part. Each of the kids had a scorecard and we did a few different games such as balloon stomp, relay race, hot wheels race, basketball shoot, freeze dance etc. Then they each got points based on how they finished. They all got the same prize in the end. It was a little crazy but what do you expect with 12 boys right! We also made homemade pizza, I had a crust for each of them and then put on sauce, cheese and pepperoni. They had a good time and I was exhausted by the end of the night since we also had 2 basketball games that same day!! Happy Birthday Cole! We love you so much! You are such a sweet boy and care so much about others. When you want to be a good helper you are the best!! We can't wait to see you get baptized at the end of the month.

11 years old

Cake on his actual birthday which was on Sunday this year, hence being in our PJs. (We moved to 8am church so when we get home, we lounge for the rest of the day!!)
Caleb with his loot from his bday. He especially loved his D Will Jersey!
At the Bowling Alley waiting for our lane!!
Caleb turned 11 years old this year on January 8th! I know I can hardly believe that I have an 11 year old! We decided to celebrate his birthday a little early this year since they were out of school for 2 weeks due Christmas Break! So he invited a few friends and we went bowling. We picked up Little Caesar's on the way down and they ate in the car. Then we had cupcakes, french fries, and nachos at the bowling alley (we had an hour wait for our lane). The boys had a fun time even if they couldn't use the bumpers. While we were waiting they found a jukebox and had a little dance party. On the way home we stopped and got hot fudge Sundays. If the boys went home hungry it was their own faults!! My life with all boys!!! Happy Birthday Caleb! We love you so much, you are such a great example to your younger brothers and those around you. You are growing up so fast you are already a tween!!!

Christmas

We had a great Christmas, we missed being around our extended family but we really love spending time just the 6 of us. We did add two more boys to the family this Christmas, Elder Berghoff and Elder Scoville the missionaries in our ward at the time.
Our cute boys in their new church clothes they got for Christmas! Caleb and Cole were very specific on what theey wanted their suits to look like.
Cooper with his Best Buddies, Elder Scoville and Elder Berghoff. It was so nice to have the Missionaries spend the day with us. I love having them around and the great examples they are for the boys. We had breakfast, watched Cars 2, went to church, the missionaries Skyped their families and we had dinner.
Dad and the big boys! Tank picked out these shirts for them to match!
Caleb with his loot from Christmas! He made out pretty good including a new mountain bike!
Cole's bike was still in good condition so he asked Santa for Rollerblades. Since we have had snow on and off all winter, he has practiced in the house.
Watch out Brock is on the loose with his new big bike! He wore the tires out on his old one skidding up and down the street.
Cooper with his new bike! We are just waiting for the spring to come so he can go out and ride it.

Air Show

In September we got tickets to the Air Show down in Colorado Springs. I thought it would be fun for the boys to go and see all the planes. We ended up getting there late due to Caleb's football game, and Brock not feeling 100%. Plus once we got there we saw all these buses that we thought were tour busses dropping people off. Little did we realize until we were well on our 1 mile hike to the air field that they were buses to shuttle people to the air field. So by time we got there the boys were tired and hot. We promised them a ride on the bus back but the wait was like an hour and it was like a 15 minute walk so they were out of luck and we made the trek back to the car. We only got to see a few of the acts but they were pretty cool. They had a tonm of vechiles that the kids could lcimb all over and inside. Cooper and Brock had a blast doing that. It was a fun thing to experience as a family and give us a little bit more appreciation for what the men and women who serve our country do!

Grandma and Grandpa Vegas Visit

In September we were lucky enough to have Grandma and Grandpa Vegas come and visit us for a few days. It was so much fun to show them our home, town we live in, and the boys school.
It was a relaxing visit. We hung out and visited most of the time. Cooper and Brock "helped" Grandma learn how to use her apps on her iphone. They played cars and trains, Cole learned how to to do headstand, we watched Caleb's football game, and Grandpa's favorite part, we drove down to Colorado Springs and had Rudy's BBQ.
We learned the secret to Grandpa's happiness while he was here, Rudy's BBQ, Pepsi and Murder She Wrote on Netflix!! Over all it was a short but nice and relaxing trip!

Camping Labor Day Weekend

This Labor Day Weekend we met up with some friends of ours and went camping. We have branched out a little this summer and decided to camp more. The boys are all old enough and with all boys what else are we gonna do all summer. We went to Wellington Lake. It was so nice our campsite was like 50 yards from the water. The boys got into swim and play around. Luckily our friends came prepared and they had tubes and rafts for the kids to play on.
The water was freezing but they didn't care. They also tried their hand at fishing but had no luck. Our friend was a trooper because our boys have never been fishing before and they were constantly getting their lines tangled and losing their bait but he was so patient and just kept helping them.

We camped for two nights, it was a little cold the second night but everyone survived. It was so nice to be out in nature and just relaxing. And let's be real, I love any vacation where there is no cell reception. No calls for Tank makes me a happy woman!
We loved our little getaway and spending time with friends!
