Caleb had his birthday party a couple of weeks ago. I know I am a slacker but here are a few pictures and highlights of the event. He wanted to have a basketball theme. So we sent out invitations shaped like basketballs. I got t-shirts from Hobby Lobby and ironed on numbers for each of the boys for their jerseys. For the game we had our own little All-star Tournament. We did a free throw contest, 3-point contest, and a slam dunk contest, the boys each had their own numbers to hold up to judge each other. (All done on the little hoop in our basement.) I think the boys had a good time and everyone received an award. After the games we went up to the Kitchen and had ball game food (Hot Dogs, Nachos, and Pretzel Bites with Cheese and Gatorade). Instead of a Birthday cake, I made cupcakes, frosted them orange and made them into the shape of a basketball.
Then we did presents. Caleb really liked all of his presents but I think he liked his basketball signed by the whole Utah Jazz team and his new Lebron James basketball shoes the best. Overall the party was a success and now I have to gear up for Cole's party on Feb. 2nd!!!

Christel,
I don't know how you do it. How creative. Sounds like it was a hit. Do you want to be our party planner? Hee, hee!
Where did you get your mad party planning skills? Sounds like it was a "ball!"
We're going out of town for Gabriel's but Cali has a birthday coming up in June . . . if you're available?
Wish you could have helped me with my five year old son's party. It was a bombshell. The kids finally started to have fun when their parents arrived to pick them up! It sounds so cute!
